AUGUSTA COUNTY, Virginia (WHSV) – Virginia State Police responded to an accident involving a single vehicle in Augusta County at 2:21 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police said a 1995 Toyota 4 Runner was traveling north on the 2000 block of Eastside Highway (Route 340) in Crimora when it turned off the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected, the vehicle came off the left side of the lane and crashed into a tree.
The driver, Amber R. Brogan, 32, from Crimora, was unbuckled. She died on the scene.
The crash is still being investigated.
