Tyler Consolidated beat the Blue Devils on Wednesday night at Knights Stadium behind strong pitching performance from Ty Walton for their 15th consecutive win and 18th overall. Walton led the Blue Devils hitting nine batters while giving up just three hits and walking two.
The Knights opened the game scoring five runs down the first and never looked back as they went up 9-0 after four innings. St Marys scored a run in the top of the fifth, but the Knights responded with a run down the inning to make it 10-1. St. Marys scored again in the top of the sixth, before the Silver Knights ended her low in the set with two runs.

Baseball Tyler Consolidated continued his winning streak by beating Paden City 9-3 on Monday, May 17. Hayden Brown took the win for the Knights, improving his record to 5-1. He allowed one hit and two runs in 6 2/3 innings, knocking out 13 Mason Nickels pitched 1/3 of an inning out of the bullpen. Brandon Hizer took the loss for Paden City. He allowed five hits and eight runs in five innings. The Silver and Black had three stolen players at least two goals with Walton in the lead with three. Will McGinnis led Paden City with a hitting in four to bats.
TCHS survived a late run from Paden City in the seventh round by giving up three runs. The offense in the seventh for Paden City was led by Hunter Fletcher, Bryson Stackpole and Alec Chaplin who all led in races. The Knights built a lead in the third inning by placing five points. Garrett Ammons, Jayden Helmick and Zade Billings all had RBIs up their inning.
