On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) shared her concerns about how the Biden administration is handling the border crisis and discussed the reasons Democrats seem unwilling to defend Israel against Hamas and Iran.
“What’s happening is that they’ve opened up this border so wide that the cartels have said, game on, we’re coming. So there is no one crossing that border unless they go through a cartel. So the cartel takes them to the border, they cross, they approach our border patrol, they raise their hand, they say asylum, then the American taxpayer takes the note and completes the last mile of the trip at the taxpayer’s expense for them. cartels. . So these individuals are trying to get into a human trafficking gang or an MS-13 gang or get to people they know who are here in the state and are being held by security. interior until they can get them released and bring them to a facility, moving them to another state. And so we found out that even after the governor of Tennessee told them he would deny their request to take illegal alien children, they still send them. The problem is, once they send them to your community, every town is a border town, every state is a border state, and it’s that community, the obligation of this county, to find a way to pay for education, health care, housing, children’s services, for those who have entered the country illegally and are then placed in their communities.
“Once upon a time, Democrats and Republicans supported the nation of Israel. And we saw some of that start to change under the Obama administration. And there was a comfort that John Kerry openly had with Iran. We know that Iran is the most aggressive state sponsor of terrorism in the world and that Iran has helped finance Hamas. And Hamas takes these missiles and rockets paid for by Iran and shoots them at Israel. And thank God for the Iron Dome and the fact that we have helped Israel prepare for it. We have to realize that once something that was of shared value, standing with Israel, is something now that the far left is very pro-Palestine, very pro-Iran. The US government for two decades has recognized Hamas as a terrorist group, and Israel is a sovereign nation. So we have a terrorist group attacking a sovereign nation. And the people say to the sovereign nation, you have no right to defend yourself. How did we react after September 11? What resources have we invested to find out exactly what happened, to make sure it never happens again? And now all of a sudden we are going to be pro-terrorist groups? And that is the position the Democratic Party is taking in this affair between Hamas and Israel. I find this very disturbing.
