Pandemic Life Silver Lining: 73% Improved Personal Care | New


MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA., June 14, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Americans Admit Some Positive Aspects Of Pandemic Life According To national survey of 1,000 American adults. Of 80% who focused more on their health in 73% who have improved their personal care, there are pandemic positives.

These hesitations did not prevent them from trying, however; 54% have visited a shopping center; 59% have resumed frequenting restaurants and / or bars; 38% have resumed the trip; 58% started going to other people’s homes; 60% feel comfortable returning to travel to work.


67% believe the U.S. healthcare system has improved since the start of the pandemic. 62% say COVID-19 has changed the way they use health care; a 25% increase june 2020. This change can most likely be attributed to early adoption and 422% increase in telemedicine since March 2020. Some demographics have been more enthusiastic about these new options. 72% men and 74% of 18-34 year olds say COVID-19 has changed the way they use health care. In fact, 81% of men say they will continue to use telemedicine. The way consumers monitor their health is also changing. 52% use portable devices like a FitBit or Apple Watch; it’s a 24% increase over the same period last year.

The survey of 1,000 adults was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen of 2-6 June 2021. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied to the overall sample and lightly weighted by geography, sex, age, race, education and location. political party to reasonably reflect the population of the country.
