SILVER CREEK – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking the public for help through the WeTip program after an accident and burglary early Monday morning at a store.

At approximately 2:18 a.m., MPs responded to Dollar General at 1360 Highways 5 and 20. An investigation revealed that two unknown subjects had driven a 1991 Chevrolet Blazer to the front of the building, causing damage to the general store. of Dollar. It appears the unknown subjects exited the vehicle and grabbed a safe inside the store, then left. The vehicle was then located in the village.
