Alien Metals Ltd announces further high-grade silver results from the Elizabeth Hill project

Alien Metals Ltd (AIM:UFO, OTC:ASLRF) has announced further high-grade silver results from the second phase of the inaugural drilling program at the Elizabeth Hill project in Western Australia.

Results from 15 reverse circulation drill holes included 8 meters (m) at 4,233 grams per tonne (g/t) silver (149 ounces per tonne (oz/t) at a depth of 66 m; and 2 m at 1 550 g/t silver (55 oz/t) from a depth of 108m in drill hole AMEHRC012, which the company said represented a potential new mineralized zone 400m south of the historic mine Elizabeth Hill.

The results follow bonanza silver grades reported to the project in January.

“The final assay results provide further confirmation of the exceptionally high grade silver mineralization at Elizabeth Hill, with additional excellent intersections in the historic ore body,” said Managing Director Bill Brodie Good.

“The intersection in hole AMEHRC012, which was drilled to the south of the orebody, is significant because it encountered high-grade mineralization at a depth where we always thought there could be a possible repeat of the orebody. silver from Elizabeth Hill.”

In addition, the AIM-listed company said it intersected base metal mineralization, including 24m at 0.19% copper, 0.17% nickel and 150g/t cobalt from 78m. ; 8m at 0.83% lead and 0.13% zinc from 48m; and 26m at 0.48% lead from 8m.

“It is also encouraging to see the presence of broad base metal intersections in the eastern mafic units parallel to the Elizabeth Hill silver deposit in the latest batch of assay results,” Brodie Good said.

“This may exhibit important base metals VMS [volcanogenic massive sulphide] style target. The company is currently working with our technical consultants to better understand this target prior to a follow-up exploration program.”
